Marble floors are undeniably one of the most beautiful floor coverings. They show good taste and prestige. However, it should be noted that such beauty requires very careful and, above all, proper care!

Daily maintenance is necessary, but it will not ensure the longevity and perfect appearance of the marble floor.

Unlike, for example, granite, marble floors are less resistant to wear and tear and exposure of the surrounding environment. Marble floors wear out over time. They form tiny scratches and bumps that make the floor look worn.

If the marble covered floors are in rooms with a high frequency of visits or pedestrian traffic, daily care will not be enough. Abrasive dust and grains of sand that get on the floor from shoes make the marble rough over time. Dirt and moisture accumulate in the cracks, which damage the natural stone.

Marble is particularly sensitive to acidic and alkaline environments. After the winter season, when the streets and roads are sprinkled with a mixture of sand and salt, it will definitely be necessary to restore the marble – thus carrying out cleaning and polishing.
